the sound of playmob.il is aging like a good wine. founded in 2014 as a colourfull live-performance. according to the principle of „play what you want“ the producer und musician ruedi tobler mixes genres and styles with absolute ease. the combination of techno, pop elements and other danceable genres like twostep and drum’n’bass is playmob.ils signature destilate. the variety of sound is coming from both artificial and natural sources such as vocals and samples. playmob.il works on solo-tracks and with or for other pilots like Big Zis, IKAN HYU, DAIF, FiggdiSam & Gritibounce, and N3k0mata. if the recorded music is the good wine, the live-performance is the fresh water. sometimes instantly composed, sometimes rearranged, always manipulated with the unique schredding machines of playmob.il

das lange vor sich hinschlummernde elektronikprojekt playmob.il reift wie ein guter wein. 

was bereits seit 2014 als live-performance begann, erscheint nun mit gefundenen, neue erfundenen und für gut befundenen tracks. 

die hauptflugrichtung „play what you want“ meint von anfang an, dass alles darf und nichts muss. so kombiniert der produzent und musiker ruedi tobler aka playmob.il seit beginn verschiedenste einflüsse elektronischer musik mit elementen aus der popwelt. 

techno trifft auf twostep trifft auf glitzerpop trifft auf melancholie trifft auf fröhlich. so unterschiedlich die musikalischen inhalte so unterschiedlich sind auch die instrumente. sowohl altes computerzubehör, arrivierte synthesizer und selbst aufgenommene samples finden genauso den weg in die playmob.il-klangwelt wie heimorgel, drumcomputer und stimmen.

durch die jahre hat sich aus diesem durcheinander die klare handschrift von playmob.il herauskristallisiert. releasseitig entstanden nebst solotracks auch featurings mit künstler*innen wie ikan hyu, daif, figgdisam und n3k0mata. 

wenn die releases der gute wein sind, ist die live performance das frische wasser. immer anders, frisch arrangiert, neu zusammengebastelt, durch den shredder gedreht.
